There is no purpose to these tests other than just to show what different random radios and microphones can sound like on the air – however some were hacked up, some were actually tuned, and some we have no idea of the history. If you ever wonder why everyone sounds so different on the radio this will give you a good idea of how one person with the same voice sounds completely different on a variety of radios.
